The Reigate Smarthome project is fast progressing. Ground Floor 2nd fix is well underway with the panel build and data rack looking good.
1st and 2nd floors still to be plastered and painted before we get stuck back in for the home straight.

After a long planning period and ground works delayed by heavy rainfall, Surrey Smarthome can at last make a start on an exciting new Smarthome in Reigate.
The 1st phase of this project is the groundfloor rear extension encompassing a huge Kitchen Diner, Games room, Utility and Plant room.
With 2 large Ground Source Heat Pumps, an EV Charge point, 3 ovens, 6 bedrooms and the possibility of a pool at a future stage, the calculated max load was 180A putting it well above the 100A limit for a single phase supply.
The quote from the DNO to upgrade the property to a 3 phase supply was an eye-watering £36,000. So instead of this we are going to use Loxone’s new Energy Meter and Energy Management software to keep the house below the 100A cutout fuse limit. This, coupled with a 5KW Solar Panel array will also help the client to keep on top of his energy usage and save money.
