Smart Home Security Installation

Intelligent security systems designed to protect your home day and night

A Loxone smart home security system helps protect your home day and night. It combines intelligent design, advanced technology, and simple control from one smart home system.

At Surrey Smarthome, we provide professional smart home security installation across Surrey and South West London. Our smart home security installers can help you create a system that works around your property, lifestyle, and daily routine.

With a Loxone smart home, many key security features can are already  built into the system. These include motion sensors, door and window contacts and app-based control. As a result, your security becomes part of your wider smart home setup, rather than a separate system.

Intrusion Detection

The foundation of Loxone’s intelligent security lies in its motion sensors and door contacts. These sensors are strategically placed throughout your home to detect any unauthorized movement when the system is armed. Upon detecting an intruder, the Loxone system springs into action with a series of coordinated responses designed to deter the intruder and alert you immediately.

Smart Access Control

Control who can enter your home with smart access systems. This can include keypads, app access or smart locks.

You can grant access to family members or visitors and remove it at any time. This is ideal for deliveries, cleaners or temporary access.

All access is logged, giving you full visibility and control over your home’s security.

Presence Simulation

When you are away, your home can simulate occupancy. Lights, blinds and other features operate automatically to make it look like someone is home.

This helps deter potential intruders and adds an extra layer of protection.

The system uses real usage patterns, making the simulation realistic and effective.

App Alerts & Monitoring

Receive instant alerts if your system detects unusual activity. You can monitor your home in real time from your phone.

Check status, view activity and control your system from anywhere. This keeps you connected and in control at all times.

It provides reassurance whether you are at work, on holiday or just out for the day.

A Powerfully Integrated Alarm

Since the smarthome system also controls your lighting, shading and home audio, these element can be incorporated into the alarm response.
When triggered blinds open and lights flash, making your house as visible as possible from the street. After a short delay a siren plays from every speaker in your house at a high volume.  This makes the environment as hostile as possible for any intruder.

What Smart People Say About Us

“Adam did a great job as the electrician for our new community hall reception area, particularly by adapting the LOXONE smart home technology so that it now provides a reliable and easy to use door entry system for our community halls. His post installation support has been outstanding – he has given us great advice on how best to use the system and has dealt with any teething troubles quickly and efficiently. We can highly recommend him!”

Integrated security connects your alarm, lighting and other smart features into one system. This allows your home to respond automatically to different situations.

For example, if movement is detected outside, lights can turn on to deter intruders. Blinds can close to protect privacy, and alerts can be sent to your phone.

This coordinated approach provides a higher level of protection compared to standalone systems.

Yes. Smart home security systems are fully customisable. You can choose how your system responds based on your lifestyle and preferences.

For example, you can create different modes such as “Away Mode” or “Night Mode”. Each mode controls how the system behaves, including alarms, lighting and notifications.

This flexibility ensures your security system works exactly how you need it to, both now and in the future.

Back-up power can be incorporated into your smarthome system using Loxone’s Power Supply and Back-up.
20AH Batteries are connected to your system and also your internet router.
In the event of a power cut your internet router and smarthome electronics seamlessly switch over to the back-up power with zero downtime.
Yes, A Loxone smarthome has the capability to communicate with 3rd party alarm monitoring service providers over SIA-09 protocol.
The monitoring company will then be alerted if your alarm is triggered; they will then seek to verify the alarm by accessing your cameras (if installed) or calling you.
Once verified, they can then take action like calling the police.
Some insurance providers will specify that your home alarm is Grade 2 or above and installed by an SSAID or NSI installer.
Unfortunately although a Loxone alarm does meet some of the criteria of a Grade 2 alarm, it is not officially a ‘graded’ alarm system.
In this case, to meet your insurance provider specifications, it is advisable to install a 3rd party separate alarm system.
Most alarm systems can still be connected to your smarthome so it can then activate the lights, blinds and audio in the event of an alarm trigger.
